That second photo is awesome! Pheasants are cool. Still don't understand why they continue to release this non-native specie in the US, though. Especially when native species like the Greater Prairie Chicken needs so much of our help.

I want to plant some wild flower in the scrub between the lot line, what do I want to get? I panted milkweed seeds last year, they never came up. Is there a Native mix?

If your milkweed seeds did not start growing, wait and see. They need to sit through a winter to grow, so you may see them grow this spring. They'll also have a much better chance of growing if they're scattered on bare soil.

I've been wanting to create this slideshow for about four years and finally got around to doing it. I'm glad I did. I think it's one of the best slideshows I've put together. Definitely shows off the park appropriately. If you have some time, please check it out!
