Looks great. You did a ton of work. You will enjoy it :)

Rather than digging a shelf I just flipped the edges of the liner straight up. This allows to raise the water level just above grade and avoids run off in the pond. Mine varies between B, C and D.

My liner is actually a little higher in the back of the rocks where I folded it under. I filled it up to the bottom of the rocks, so it looks a lot nicer. I made sure to create a small trench around the level rim, this way any water that enters this around just goes around the pond and not into it. I just filled the trench with more rocks to make it look level. It handled the Friday rain fine, so it is hopefully good. And this was without all the rocks in there.
