My pond runs all winter, zone 2/3

Spring is on the way. Our trees are budding and it feels like spring these days. I remember some winters there was no spring in sight till May! One horrible year we had a record dump of snow in early November and that snow was still hanging around come May! This year I think it's going to be beautiful, and warm. I remember some years I had Panzies in the ground planted on March 1st! I think this will be one one of those years.

Awe! Thanks for the extra lovely comments! Been busy painting living room new "Bloody Red" color. Fixed a couple cracks in wall and the area Bad Bear did with his big "Bear Claws" a few years back. Everything going Red!

i had a all red room with a black ceiling, late hubby wanted it. Actually did not look bad.Lousy picture, taken many years ago. The tenants painted it tan.

I just love the color red. Enjoying the new couches and furniture too right now. I think the other wall that is blue right now will be painted the color of this grass cause it compliments the red without adding another dark color. The blue is nice but it feels cold so I want a warm color to cosy the room.
Weather has been very mild for us in Medicine Hat, considering it's Feb and we barely get below freezing during the day now. Ponds are all defrosted and pumps running well as usual. I just wish the sun would come out more cause sky is overcast or its foggy these days... oh well can't have everything!

And forgot to mention that pond heater has not been used so far this month at all! Spring is coming and I have been outside,sorting things out in my gazebo. It needs a good spring cleaning! Need to get that all nice and cosy too so I can have coffee outside in spring by pond.

I still have the same furniture I bought when we moved here 11 years ago and walls are still the same color .Only thing I have done in painting is the outside stuff and the ceilings inside

I need to paint the inside of our family room and kitchen at least. It's the same white paint the builder did 15yrs ago and it's getting dingy looking from wood stove smoke etc. Want to paint something darker that mellows it down some from the off white. Maybe a mellow cocoa type soothing yummy tasting color.

Actually Janice, black kitchens are really nice looking and the latest "In Look". The counter tops and ceilings should be white. I want "Black kitchen cupboards" and paired it with crome or black stove fridge and ect. It actually looks very shape. You can look up ideas on U tube, they have tons of ideas.
I needed to paint as living room was last painted about 18 years ago I think, and when Bear and Poppy were small they were chewing and made quite a mess long ago with the last paint job...
