my mom and grandma used to sing my sunshine and that brought back tears and memories
Just so thankful she can sing again. Yesterday evening at the Chapel my mom sung so nice and I was so proud of her. The CBD sure is helping and there for a while I thought she would never sing again. I go every single day and half the time I go see her before and after wotk. I just cherish out little moments together and praise God that I still have her to love.

Started the car and it made a strange noise vut started at least. It has not been this cold for a while. Don't think it was this cold last year... Last year was a long hard cold with little breaks in the weather, but this year the weather just snapped and we have extremely cold weather. Not sure how low the windchill would be so I will have to look that up.

@callingcolleen1 Do you think these glass balls would work like your spinning balls, or would the little "loop" keep them from spinning properly ?
I think the loop might be a problem... Then they are glass and if a storm came and blew ball against the rocks that might shatter the glass. I have no luck with glass in my garden. It all ends up broken after a while. Accidents happen and I have dropped the stainless steel balls and they are fine. Thank goodness cause I can be clumsy some times.

Thanks @callingcolleen1 , good point about the glass too.

Another very cold day, currently -30 Celsius. Had to work on bottom pond filter yesterday outside in the freezing cold. Pumped some warm water in pondd from house yesterday and got that filter fixed but not before freezing my hands numb... The things we do for our fish.

I don't think we have Ollies in our area. I used to belong to Sams Club, would the balls be featured on their website?

I thought at one time Laguna had stainless steel balls but could be wrong. I got some of my stainless steel balls from a local pet store and the rest from garden centers around town. Have not seen any lately for sale around town.

So cold again tonight. Looks like another -30 possible tonight. Front yard guppy pond all covered and snowed in. Topped up the water in that pond the other day. Seens to be running well this year dispite the extreme cold. We shall see come spring if any left over guppies still alive out there. Water felt warm last time I checked.

The main Koi ponds all running good and no ice under the cold frames (except bottom pond shallow edge had some ice around far edge of pond) dispite the extreme cold. Big koi looked lively and warm today under their coldframes and blast of warm air feels good when you peek under coldframes, from just one 1500 heater heater that is heating all four big ponds. Sure glad I put the cold frames over top. I used to be able to run all three ponds with just one heater, without covering ponds, but after I added that new deeper pond about 4 years ago, the heater struggled to keep all ponds warm so now I cover them and everything runs really well now.
