My goldfish pond

nice light show but could really make you dizzy .That reminds me of clouded crystal I saw in Germany ,wish I could remember the name of it but to many years ago .like almost 40 years ago .Reminds me also of the the caverns we have around here also ,but growing up instead of down .I wish my parents were more into taking pics back then but afraid they very seldom took pics of anything .If you look at the top of it in your pic it almost looks like a heart shape .neat

Sissy, Idar-Oberstein is famous for it's natural gems and gem cutting industry. Now the gems they were known for cutting are cut more cheaply in a Asia.

First one reminds me of a giant jelly bean on that game we used to play where you had to match the lights ,can't remember the name .Second one with the crystals was great .I have a large amythest stone cut away and a salt crystal rock .Did you see the lava rock waterfall ,well looked like it but they say thats what the sun makes it look like certain times of the year.I have been to several of the caverns around here and seem to see something different each time.I figured a pic or two of lovers leap on the blue ridge parkway is nice

Sissy, great pictures. Re the light show it was at the sculpture with the nickname the bean, but its formal name is Cloud Gate and you can find it in Millennium Park sans the light show. When I was looking up Idar-Oberstein I came across this video. It has over 3 million hits. It's not for the faint of heart so beware before you click!

Herz, There is a restaurant that serves beer in those things in South Beach. We were there around the first of the year and people were drinking out of them. I wonder how many ounces it holds? and could it be used for a goldfish? That would have been neat if that was part of the video!

We had two days of 60 degree weather and all the ice finally melted. I looked at the pond just before dark and I saw a couple fish. Today it was back in the 30's again. burrrr.
