They are looking good and healthy there Koiguy. I think your making a mistake by wanting to part with them though. You know how long it takes to get them that big and to have proven breeders and a balance of sexes that works for you. I really like that last male, even though the Hi is really weak the sumi and white are really crisp and stand out. The other fish also compliment each other for a balance of color in the pond. You know they are spoiled to you. Who else is going to give them Purty babies a home like you give them??? lol

i just love a real busy pond..i can enjoy a pond with all the plants intact for a couple years as well. i like the way 50 fish, 6" - 10" can keep a pond looking busy, alive, and highly active. and i can select a new breeding stock from the new stock. i dont know, nothings set in stone.

I totally understand, having a bunch of small fish seems like it would be much more exciting than just a few larger ones. If there were a way to do that, if I could sell off my adults reliably I would try it but I'm not sure how many I'll be able to sell. I think in my area it will be a fairly small number.

One reason I like my goldies and shubbies a bunch of small fast moving fish, they never just hang out.
