WELL I'M FINALLY GETTING AROUND TO DOING SOMETHING WITH THE POND....I KNOW.. "SHAME ON MY LAZY @$$!" but anyways, as long as i had them caught and in a smaller container, i thought i might snap a few pics to share. and i i didnt want to sift thru them to pick which ones so here they all are... just as easy to post them all as it is one with photobucket. so here goes. theyre in a 15 - 20 gal tote.

Beautiful! Though I love my watergarden and plants, I really have to admit that it's the fish who are the main attractions.

don't ask...thanks... ive seen many much nicer fish on this forum. in fact ive sold lots of 'year olds' that looked much nicer than the parents. but i love em just the same. but this may very well be their last months with me tho. i am seriously considering selling them after this years spawning. it will give my plants a chance to recoop and me a choice of new parenting stock.

thanx pondlover....theyve made themselves at home. already spawned 2 days in row..starting yesterday, the very next morning after going outside...once again i wasnt prepared this year. did manage to get some yarn annd make some spawn mops today tho. i did collect some eggs. but if years past are any indication..ive got a couple more spawns to go. i think i'll do a quick thread on the easy way to make mops...
