They're in the business to sell pond products! Some people use chemicals like those others say they are useless. You don't want to add multiple chemicals or products at one time. It could do more harm than good. Is that white pad your only filter?

A pond supply site (123 Ponds) recommended Microbe-Lift bacteria, enzyme products and water clarifiers.
What is your opinion of these type of products in dealing with this?

This is one of the better products on the market but you will still be left with an oversupply of nutrients in the water possibly triggering an algae bloom
Much better to vacuum the sediment and remove it and its components completely

Welcome to our group! I don't add anything to my pond, let it balance itself out. Very low level of feed if any.
