Very Cool and helpful trick Carolyn! I will have to remember that one, My smaller pond drops a bout 1" a day vs the larger (100 Gallons more) pond which only drops 1-2" a week but I also take into consideration the Smaller pond gets more direct sunlight and I have nothing on the pond floor as it's just the black liner... The sun loves black :sun_smiley:

Good question - I would think there would be movement shown with the milk. Let's hope none of us have to use this trick....

I don't think my fish would let the milk slowly move, they would swim through it trying to eat it up.
