Nope not safe, they will spawn all summer, mine chase a lot. Goldfish, not koi.

Ok just an update..... I had an UV light problem due to my mistake...... Ordered a replacement bulb and got the wrong bulb..... The right one should be here tomorrow....So now I have a green pond..... But guess what...... My water quality is great..... My Koi could care less if the water is green...... They are growing like crazy..... Eating like there is no tomorrow..... And the two dozen one inch long babies from their first spawn are coming out and eating with the big guys ..... So I always heard that the Good Lord takes care of Fools and Children..... That being said at 63 years old..... Just saying Jimmy
