Bought a top of the line xl extension pole with deep leaf net this past spring. I can easily reach 100% of the pond. Light, easy to use and empty. Will scoop the leafs this fall. Three trees around the pond , two bald cypress, one red bud.

I came home to 5 Bull Frogs on TOP of my netting today! I was wondering why the net was touching the water with very little leaves on it. As I walked up the frogs where using it as a trampoline! I was very funny to see them jumping and bouncing all over!!! I'm not sure how they got out and on top. Where do frogs go when they are not in the pond

I had that same issue this past spring with my bog plants. I wasn't able to get out there before everything died off so I had a bunch of dead plant matter and leafs in the bog. I leave both my pumps running all winter so the pond doesn't freeze as thick.

We bought a pool net, too. The three "pond" scooping nets we had bought previously lasted less than a season each. They are built for extinction. Pool nets hold up much better, the poles are sturdier and the shape works better in our pond.

In your extra bathroom w/ a tub that you have decorated like a pond
Well I do have a peanut shaped preform above ground next to the pond until I sink it next spring. I often wondered if they jumped back into that shell. 5 Came from that pond I rescued from an abandon building.

Frogs are always on the move coming and going looking for food. I find them jumping around the yard now and then. When I mow they hop fast but I stop for them and pick them up and stick them in the pond for safekeeping till I am done. Don't they like to hibernate cuz in early Spring I sometimes find them in weird places, like inside my hose reels and inside deck boxes etc.

I never saw frogs, and rarely saw toads before my pond. Now I'm up to over 9! I'll go out and see a small frog and know I've got another resident! They will love the area as my deck is 2' and I will make sure to pack some leaves in there for their comforters this winter. I am going to relocate the BIG boys next year to a pond at the end of the road in fear of them eating my fishies and cats!

They love my bog, every time I mess around in there they are hopping everywhere to get away from me, from 1 inch to 3-4 inch in size.
