Ohh this is true! Hadn't thought of that
Bought a top of the line xl extension pole with deep leaf net this past spring. I can easily reach 100% of the pond. Light, easy to use and empty. Will scoop the leafs this fall. Three trees around the pond , two bald cypress, one red bud.
Well I do have a peanut shaped preform above ground next to the pond until I sink it next spring. I often wondered if they jumped back into that shell. 5 Came from that pond I rescued from an abandon building. In your extra bathroom w/ a tub that you have decorated like a pond
I never saw frogs, and rarely saw toads before my pond. Now I'm up to over 9! I'll go out and see a small frog and know I've got another resident! They will love the area as my deck is 2' and I will make sure to pack some leaves in there for their comforters this winter. I am going to relocate the BIG boys next year to a pond at the end of the road in fear of them eating my fishies and cats!Frogs are always on the move coming and going looking for food. I find them jumping around the yard now and then. When I mow they hop fast but I stop for them and pick them up and stick them in the pond for safekeeping till I am done. Don't they like to hibernate cuz in early Spring I sometimes find them in weird places, like inside my hose reels and inside deck boxes etc.
