Iris grows like crazy in between my rocks w/their feet in the water. They grew so good that they pushed my rocks down to the bottom of the pond. I didn't like that and told them to stop doing that. They didn't listen so they had to leave the rocks. Still have more to take out next Spring. Now I am trying to let them float freely in a spot on the pond surface where I will keep an eye on them and divide them up when needed. They never went through my liner. I like how their roots spread out in the water in masses and the little fish like hiding in them. Bigger fish like picking at them.
