How do you cut the glass so precisely? I might just have to try this, lol.

When we started in 1995 we jumped in head first and made a big window
about 35" x 42" LOL....we got books from the library, now there are many
videos on youtube...we started before the internet was big.
you need a lot of patience...you are actually making a glass puzzle.

you cut out a paper pattern using specials scissors for stained glass patterns,
you also need an exact copy of the pattern your cutting out -- to place
the cut glass on to it...it's very involved, the more you do, the better you get.
we have windows in our house where we've never had windows before...
we also use stained glass in many of our woodworking projects
and cabinets. I have a small perfume cabinet we made for my end table
in the bedroom, I'll look for a pic of it.

Ok, it's going to take some time to find the perfume cabinet pic's.

In the mean time this is the 4th window we made in 1995...
This is my favorite window. it's our kitchen door and has over 350 pieces of glass.
I learned to design, so that there is no unnecessary lead lines.
It's a diamond glass door, so it was another challenge.
