I live in Iowa too and we had the best winter on record. Hardly had any snow and the temps were great. I've already had to mow my yard twice. The pond rebuild looks great. I love the dock idea. We too rebuilt our pond this year already. Just doing the finishing touches on it now.

its was 8x10x4, and is now 9x15x4 i haven't figured out exactly how many gallons yet, i know it not 4,000 like i had originally thought because i did leave a little plant shelf, and i left that peninsula in the middle. I know I at least doubled the volume.
