Yeh like the look but would miss the pond and fish guess when i'm old and senile i will not know the difference and be feeding the rocks . :razz: Thanks also for the info expensive though and wonder if you could use like a drain pipe and retro fit it some how .The drain field pipe with the slots

sissy and j.w: Since you both expressed an interest in a pump system that doesn't clog easily, I should tell you that my recent research to find a new pump for my pondless system turned up an Aquascape Designs model called AquaForce that can be set down in your open pond with no additional protection (it's only for open ponds, not pondless systems). It has a large-object filter, but passes anything up to 1/4 in. right through it. The best prices I've found (1000, 2700 and 5200 gpm models) are from TJB through Amazon.com ($184 to $290 with free shipping). Just search for aquaforce at amazon.com. I'm not endorsing this brand over others; it's just the one I've had the most experience with.
