Inherited a pond and rebuilding

I would use the skimmer if you have it, during the fall you will still have to net out if you have trees near by or empty the skimmer two times a day as it will fill up. My pump is external and feeds my savior filter falls, laguna filter falls and my bog. My bog is at the top of my waterfall and am very glad I put it in a few years ago. I didn't the filtration as I already had plenty I put it in so I could have different plants. You can check my bog out in my threads in my signature.

Yep love my skimmer, collecting all of those red maple flowers. Mine is one pump with a T, one draw from the pond, one from the skimmer. There is a t on the skimmer line so I can turn down the flow if need be.
