Ideas for spillway/waterfall?

An simple spillway can be made by cutting up a plastic tote or any type of container.

I wouldn't recommend using a plastic tote for anything that you hope is going to last any length of time.

I used an old dustpan for my waterfall spillway. Hose points to rear of the dustpan, water evenly spreads out of the front. Its great if you don't need high water flow rate.
