i just kept pullling it out of the roll counting to 100 , it took me a while lol

koikeepr is going to use 9800 feet of 1/2" poly strapping in a 150GL stock tank so yours holds about 35 gl of media maybe use a couple thousand feet. really as much as you can fit in the filter.
iam useing a 55 gallon drum lol

If she puts all the 9800 ft of strapping in her filter that would be 9800/150= 65 ft per gallon of filter.
So maybe you should aim for 50 ft per gallon that would be 2700 ft. Like everyone says the more the better.

I ended up fitting about 6,000 feet into the 150 gallon stock tank. So, I have quite a bit left over in a bag.
