@CometKeith Good deal on easy turning the filter! Oh so you do have to use a pump. Good thing I have one. It's a Laguna 4280 or something like that. Will work great w/the new filter...............if I decide to splurge. They are not cheap!

a filter for a thousand gallon pond on a 200 gallon pond is just right in my eyes. take it to the max use a skimmer and a bottom drain split the lines so you talking both are taking in 500 gph that's two times the turn over of the pond on each of the filters. on a small pond I believe you realy need to step up flow and filter. on the returns have the hose pushing the surface in a circular motion and have the other half go to a water fall. you won't be sorry

Oh and I fixed my filter today. It was so easy! I just took the cover off of it and turned it so the nozzle faces away from the garage.

lol sometimes we stress longer over the job then doing the job that ends up being so easy and quick
