Yah, copper does have some wide range of application fairly easy to find out.

Even an internet expert might figure, if need be, its fairly cheap and easy to to persuade copper to dissolve quicker knowing it will be effective

Cheaper than a bag of copper sulphate or the algaecides peddled at extortionate high prices

Andy,
Off topic question but I was looking at your pics and saw a plant called golden club. That thing looks pretty cool, is it hard to grow and where did you get it?

Golden club is one of the gems among the best of choice aquatic plants. Easy to keep if you know its quirks. Golden club is tetchy about root damage, thats one of its quirks

I found it on ebay some years ago, spares are thinned out on ebay, bundled as trio's as three pond plants can be fitted in small flat rate boxes to make the most of the cheapest priority postage.
