Thanks. I had a feeder set up from a tree about 10' from the house. It looked like he just fell straight down off the feeder. Glad I looked closely before I stepped because when I first spotted the iridescent green, I thought it was a dead/dying cicada. If it had been a cicada, I might not have stepped so carefully -- I don't like "bugs" that can fly up in my face, and I might have stepped ON it.
