I actually had a box turtle drop into my pond and swim across it and climb out on the other side. I never knew they could swim.

Cute turtle! I'm not a fan of snakes either, but I have a if you leave me alone, I'll leave you alone policy. Unless I think they are poisonous.

We get turtles here and while you are mowing you always have to keep an eye out for them .There is a stream across the road so no clue why they come up here .Is it that saying the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence .Luck she was peeking out .Maybe you need to put a rock in the filter just in case another 1 comes by or she makes a return visit :)she may like what you have built and it is her vacation spot now
