Looked over at my filter this morning to see something popping its head out, at first glance thought it was another snake.

Walked over for a closer look.

Make sure it gets out. Its not an aquatic turtle so if trapped it could drown.

The turtles get on the rocks to get a drink, they tip them and then fall into the pond. I made sure any rocks around my stock tank where heavy enough to support a turtle ow they tip the rock and fall into the pond. I had one drown , so made sure only real heavy rocks surrounded the tank.

Looks like it is trying to get your attention!!! A little help over here please?

Oh are snakes common around the pond? I had my liner rolled up into my stream liner while I was finishing up on the main pond. Yesterday we unrolled it and there was a Gardner snake, nice and health sized curled up in one of the folds! I screamed like and ax murderer was after me and I really don't want snakes!!!

Already moved one water snake this spring after he ate a fish. Had a baby in there couple days ago, was gonna relocate him to but haven't seen him since.
