HOW TO FIND A "POND GROUP" AND/OR "KOI CLUB" IN YOUR AREA?

I'm at the point of wanting to get with others locally, but have no idea how to go about LOOKING! Where does one go to "look up" a local interest group? Any suggestions?

Already tried that -- Baton Rouge is all that shows up, and that's a good 4-5 hour drive away. But thanks for that suggestion!

maybe try starting a "meetup" in your area and see if there are any hits? There's a fee to meetup.com, but none using FaceBook.

Sorry I was typing on my phone so it was a bit short. How about calling the contact you did find and asking if they know of any in the area?
