The grey connection below is something I placed trying to keep the hose and the pvc connected.

Ideas please. I miss Myers.

That should still work but you will need a clamp also. Barb connectors work better with clamps, they do make small ones. I assume you are trying to stop the water leaving the hose. If it is leaking out of the plastic connection just use pvc glue.

Thank you. I'll give it a shot.

Well, first I would turn off the water... haha! Just kidding. I think you got your answer - a clamp should do it!

It looks to me like your clear hose is too large or grey fitting is too small as well. If they are sized correctly they will not leak and the clamp is just a safety add on to keep the pressure from popping it apart.

too lazy to go out for a pic, mine isn't the same setup as yours but I think a compression coupling should also work

I tried one of those. The problem is the pvc bend does not support that length. Maybe Ill use a small straight pvc after the bend and then connect it to that part you showed me.

When you get a chance can you show me yours please.
I used the coupling to join a 1" pvc to a flexhose for my bog filter. Seems to do a a good job and can be found at HD. I'll be spraying it black this year
