i laid my Lillie tubers on the bottom and put a rock on top of them
I have done that with some, laid a rock on them , in a pot, and they grow great. Some just don't want to stay planted, they float out of the pot.

Yep two feet of water is fine! They do love fertilizer to get and keep them blooming!

I have a few that do well in only 10ish inches of water. But they do best in 1.5-3 feet of water.

When I receive the plants they will be small with leaves on them which meanes at 2ft the intire plant will be under water.

You can set them on something to raise them up and then when pads reach the top you can lower them. Either way, doesn't matter much. They do fine covered in water and will head for the top fast!

I have moved my plants around, after they have pads to the surface, sinking the pads, within a day the pads are back on the surface.
