I would let it cycle first with a few comets untill things come around. Why did you treat for ich? Did they have it? Or is that just what the salesman sold you? Most local fish stores aren't that knowledgeable when dealing with ponds. As much as people want to think they are just a big fish tank that is not the case. Most fish tanks dont sit out in the elements 24/7, like a pond. Then if you want to add koi you just upped the ante. You want to turn the water over at least once per hour with good circulation in the pond.
