Not sure what the consensuses is around here, but my #1 weapon against green water is a UV sterilizer, you can get them for dirt cheap on Ebay these days.

What are you using for Bio-media in your filter?

Pond looks great, love the rock work.

Thanks...I followed Dr Dave's plans for the bio filter,the media is 1/2 inch black plastic pipe cut to 1 1/2 inch length,(5000 ) plus lots of other plastic (old curlers,bottle caps,any plastic i could find)

Welcome Brian. I use a uv light to get rid of my green water. I only need to run it a couple of days and my water is crystal clear.

If bio filter won't do the job uv light will be next.
