Welcome aboard Douglas, Very nice work and those are quite some accomplishments. Great to see a new experienced member.
Sissy, his link is just a link to directly ask him a question, very similar to a PM or direct email with security. I'll allow it. No advertising,
Yep, except in his profile for the website URL, it is an advertisement.

Also, the info he posted in the other thread also appears to be mostly a copy and paste from an article he wrote, which personally I don't mind.

I don't find anything wrong with it, but lets be honest about the motivations here.

I'm glad he has presented it. It appears he has a wealth of information to share especially in regards to concrete pond and concrete water feature construction, which I need all the help I can get. I am an extreme newb to concrete construction.

His autofill contraption involving a solenoid looks quite interesting and is something I have been looking for although I am concerned about how mineralization would affect it since it looks to be using a conductivity sensor, but this was after a quick glance of it and I need to read more into it.

Now, after looking at it closer, it appears to be a float valve and I am actually quite impressed with it.

I use quite a few DC battery operated solenoid valves for particular tanks on my farm so I have a supply of them and I would like to possibly use one of these valves I have in stock.

Mr. Hoover, can your Aquafill device be used with a DC battery operated solenoid valve ??
