Here is the new pond I've been working on since yesterday, almost done just got to get more rock for the waterfall. It measures 6ftX4ftX30''. We have 3 comets, 3 shubunkins and one baby koi. The koi will be finding a new home ones he is too big for our pond, currently he is just about 2''.

The rock on top of the pond is busted up concrete, will that be ok to stay up there even if it is a little sharp? No one will be messing with them but me. I am a little nervous about it so I just wanted some input. I was thinking about taking the extra liner ad laying it underneath the rock, but didn't really want to. Suggestions?

Yeah all in all the pond only costed roughly just under $250.00! Got all the rock for free around here from people giving it away.

Looks good. See those two vents near the pond? Ever wonder how they effect the pond? I have one of those by my pond too. I forget if it is the exhaust from the furnace, the hot water heater, or the radon gas filter or whatever it is. I really have no idea lol but I did angle mine away from the pond. Something I want to research more later. Enjoy!

Yeah one is from the furnace and haven't really checked out where the other one is for (Just moved in a few months ago). If anything it will help keep the pond warmer due to it being in complete shade all day year round. I probably should go check what the other one is for lol.

other one could be your hot water heater and they should never really be that close to each other and if it happens to be gas it could be worse and if it is from a dryer even worse .Did you have a house inspection ,inspector should have noted those 2 vents and checked what they are .My son is a home inspector for a company up in NJ besides all the other things he does .Welder ,tow truck driver , diesel mechanic licensed electrician ,tattoo parlor owner and he had a remodeling company in VA for awhile until his divorce

Looks good!

What kind of filter are you using?

How is your waterfall hooked up? (Im asking because I am just starting to re-do a small pond and still trying to figure things out)
