Thanks for all the info! It is still in the refrigerator, the shell is hard, have not been brave enough to crack it. Dear hubby thought it was rotten.

Oh I have a ton of'em myself...I just wasn't sure it was ok to post them on this Forum!

I got this egg out of a carton of eggs from Costco, brown organic eggs.
I have never seen one look like this, the poor hen!

Or the smell could get to you or it could be ugly if it is a fertilized egg and a poor chick was sacrificed .I forgot that that happened to my Uncle Ivan at his farm .Aunt Helen caught it and it was not a pretty sight but to late for the embryo
