What are the nitrates... a high amount can explain the acidity. HNO3 is acidic.

So odd that your ph is so off. No run offs??

Not quite.

Nitrate is No3.

HNo3 is Nitric acid. A completely different form of Nitrogen.

"The fact that there is no relation between pH and the concentration of nitrate is due to
the fact that firstly, nitrate has no effect on the pH levels. Also, different ions
dissolve at different pH levels, nevertheless, it seems that nitrate is not affected by
this. Hence, it is evident that there is no relation between the levels of nitrate and the pH levels."

I suppose it's in salt form in the water making it neutral. I stand corrected. So what is the nitrate reading? And do we have some run offs from around the pond into the pond explaining the ph?
