My guess is not more than 45 minutes to an hour.

The University of Florida says that at 1%, exposure to be no more than 10 minutes or until the subject fish rolls over, whichever comes first. So my guess was at .6% the distress would be about 45 minutes to an hour.

If you have other information please share it.

The University of Florida says that at 1%, exposure to be no more than 10 minutes or until the subject fish rolls over, whichever comes first. So my guess was at .6% the distress would be about 45 minutes to an hour.

I've used .6 salt to treat Popeye and it worked for me. There were also two other koi in the tank at that time.
I raised it .1 each day till it reached .6
This drew the eye fluids out.
It worked for me.
You being from California might know Kevin Pham of Genki koi .That's where I got my info.
I don't think he would use it if he thought it would harm his fish.
