Oh wow so cool, that looks like two different ponds made to look as if they are connected
Saltwater at the top and Natural at the bottom
I could be wrong about all of it but from what I have been learning so far that is what it looks like.

Your close i believe the top was chlorine and the bottom is natural

I remember watching that first one get built. I think there's 2 or 3 salt chlorine generators.

If it is salt it should not be allowed as there will be times when the water will be pumped out and they more than likely will dump it out back there and it will end up in the lake salt never goes away chlorine eventually will as will chlormine
