Just one word of caution - that tarp will cut off the sunlight as well, so make sure you remove it during the day and let the light in. I would add some insulation around the outside of the tank - even just wrapping it in a few heavy blankets or some bubble wrap will help keep the heat in at night. Just a thought!

Its a clear tarp and I take it off in the morning and put it on around dusk. It got to about 29 degrees last night and I checked the temp this morning and the temp is holding at 66 and they look pretty happy because the suns out today.Thank you ALL for your advice and suggestions I really need it. I dont really know I'm doing but I'm learning fast!!!
