Welcome aboard.....

JW your pond and yard look great. Your grass looks like a fairway on a golf course. You should create a showcase for us.

Thanks tmann, the lawn looks like that because..........."The rain in Spain lays only in The Great Pacific N.W 24/7" I'd do a showcase if you could put up w/ old photo's that I have using a not so good camera that I had. And I don't have any photo's of the dig........never thought of doing that 10yrs ago

addy..........you're too funny..........and even nice also

Not to hijack the thread but what is that growing in front of the concrete bench, looks like a form of sedum?

I could put up with the old photos.

That's what it is tmann...........sedums growing like crazy. I have several different kinds of sedums and they take a lickin and keep on tickin when all else fails. I like how you can just break off a piece of any sedum and stick it right in the ground and voila, you have instant new plants

Here is the one that you see by the bench:

I haven't had to water anything much at all this Spring/Summer and that is even strange for here. It's been raining here each day for several days now. At least the grass stays nice and green. Usually by this time it's hard to keep it green as we have such sandy soil.

Thank you for the very warm welcome.

DrDave, Since you are a fellow Californian, where is an inexpensive place to grab a pond liner? I am looking for 10' x 12'

I bought the last one at Home Depot. $15.50 a foot for 15' wide material. larger than 15' wide needs to be ordered from another supplier.
