Hello Garden Pond People.. Im excited to share my mothers pond that I have made for her. Didnt think i would be able to pull it off but it slowly emerged to come out better than what i expected. I am a complete newbie, so hopefully I would be able to get great ideas from here to improve my pond. I have 3 pumps running inside the pond. One running through the home made bio filter and another just flowing through the water fall. I had an extra pump laying around so i just threw in the third one in there too to get more water flow off the water fall. I have koi fish swimming around and another fish that im not too sure of the name but they say they eat mosquito larvae. So im guessing their name Mosquito eaters :lol: ... The pond has been running since December 2010. How i have it set up i have not had any problems with it. Water is still clear and fish seem happy and the plants are now thriving. I do very little maintance to it. I just usually vist my mothers house once a week just to top it off a little along with some dechlorinator.
