Hello and a few basic pond questions

Okay, so ive got the weather, pump, and pond basin taken care of, after reading through the DIY section I think I will take a 5 gallon bucket and stuff it full of poulttry wire the toss in a few scrouge sponges, or something like this

Don't use cotton, use the poultry netting, irrigation hose, strapping etc.

Okay will do, Im learning more every second, I may use plastic cable like I saw one guy do if I can find some for cheap but Ill probably use poultry netting.

Okay thanks, Im picking up the "tub" saturday so my plan is to install it that weekend and order the pump sunday if I do not get one

My pond is 310 gal. I made a 30gal barrel into a filter and it works super. I don't know if you can compare the results of a 30gal barrel to a 5gal one. RDK

so yours is about a tenth the pond volume, since mine is 150 gallons, Ill use two five gallon buckets
