It's been a huge change to see the slow but steady acceptance of the bog filter. When we built our pond, it was difficult to impossible to find any written information about building a bog. We got all our information from word of mouth from other pond owners or pond builders who were just adopting the bog filtration themselves.

Love my bog!

I hope nobody things I am not pro bog. I think that as a foundation of clean water it’s the most amazing system ever.

I think that once you have your natural filtration system, it is reasonable to add aesthetic improvements with some of the other toys.

Bogs are also the best DIY solution.

The air bubbles and movement prevent it from being clear in pictures, but I see all the way to the bottom and see all my fish, snails, plants growing, etc., very happy with this new solution.

Going to play with the filter material in the vase - more carbon, small amounts of bio material just because you can never have enough filtration, but really its all amount clearing the water on that line. Bogs are handling all the fish load whether I run anything on the second channel or not.
