Hardy water lily help

I pulled the bucket out just to see where the growing tips were. And then I removed some gravel which was the white pea gravel. When I placed it in I placed it where most of the sun hits daily. Does it need more gravel removal?

Looks like you might have 3 different growth tips (guessing), you should be able to see part of the tuber and where the leaves etc are coming out of the tuber. Above the gravel

Perhaps I should move little more gravel. It looks like four when I looked at it closely. I read that some people divide them during july and August so they have the warmer waters to pick back up from shock.

If you do decide to move more gravel, just be careful not to damage the growing tips. Then just give the plant time to start up again. One thing I have learned that is essential with ponding- patience!
