Oooppps! Looks like we were posting at the same time.....

I think the lava rock will help with getting the cycle going and getting that ammonia under control. I assume you still have fish in the tank? If so, I would continue to do smaller water changes to help keep the levels down.

I can't get it under control! I started a new thread on the ammonia to see what input I could get.

I'm about to release them back into the pond.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions. The ammonia is at the 1 or 2 mark now (hard to match the colors).

I did a huge water change this morning and no change at all.
