nah maintenance is easier with bigger ponds, they are more stable. IMHO! lol

My smaller pond had more maintenance in my opinion. It had a submersible pump and filter system which constantly had to be cleaned.

Welcome and happy digging. My shovel managed to get me a 25x35 foot pond before the tree roots stopped me. I know the bigger pond is way easier to maintain than the small preformed I started with.
