Even if this product is completely benign and primarily a flocculant, the problem remains that the nutrients are not removed from those ponds that lack bottom drains (most Garden Ponds are in this category) and remain to restart the cycle of algae growth.

I guess only option there is to net the stuff out of the bottom .I have no bottom drain and find netting is easy and fast
