Thanks, mtpond! It's actually quite a haul, all of about 15'. Have to navigate through an extended garden where the skeeters are often laying in wait. Nawww, it's so close, I take 'em by surprise and am in before they can line their prey up! Only awkwardness is when I have my hands full, what with food and drink and book, ya know? Sort of need 3 hands then...

Our skeeters have all disappeared with the appearance of the pond. Now I need something for yellow jackets that are going crazy over the falling apples.

Good way to enjoy your pond. You need a nice little carry basket, keep your one hand free for smacking the lil buggers.

yummy love them, but since my honey has sugar issues we are both on a low sugar diet, keeps the temptation away.
