that's a smart way to do it. 4 foot net is a big'un to corner 'em with. How deep is your tub koiguy? I'm always afraid they'll jump outta the tub.

its just a storage tote like 15"x25"x15" deep i only put 5" of water in it to keep them wet they're only in it for 2or 3 minutes...and the ones that will fit i put in my fish bags...always save your fish bags..

Here's the pics of the net framework we used to corral the fish. 10'x3'. Going to keep it for next year as we will have to round up the koi for another sale. I'm guessing 3-4 dozen adults is too many?LOL I have 5 adults now that I will keep and then see what the kids look like in the spring.

Can i ask which fabric store you got your netting from...Joanne fabrics does carry it...atleast around here

nice net. I need to build one too, but it can't be an L frame because I have a kidney shaped pond. I'm gonna do it like a regular fisherman's net, with just two poles on the side and drag it across. Same theory as yours tho.

It was Hancock Fabric. Regular price $7. yard but was on sale half price. I have used laundrybags from the dollar stores to redo my fish nets.
