I was surprised to see fan tails on a plate no idea why they don't call them fancy gold fish for no reason. People love them so why not on a decoration of a plate

Last night I was shocked to read (at another forum) goldfish in general described as "poop machines who grow to be as big as footballs."

What's up with that ???

I have seen pictures of standard gold fish get that big . A fan tail not so much but close . Probably a 20 to 30 year old fish
