"Golden" Carp Fish

During my last visit to the vet, where I use to take my dogs to, he asked me if I could adopt the "golden" carp of the pictures. It was in a small tank with other small species and in time the tank, apparently, became too small for him. It stressed and made him very aggressive.
Well, I put him in my pond and he is doing well. At the beginning, I had concerns about bullying, but for about 2 weeks now,,,nothing to report. I am sure now it is a HE because of his behavior during the last shubunkin spawning.
He is too young for reproduction now, but for the next season I would be corious to see a crossing with shubunkins :rolleyes:

Glad you were able to help him out with the fish. An issue with some aquarium fish and turtles here also.

Otherwise they had sacrificed him ! I don't know why carp fish have that agressive predator image. Where, I find, they are such social calm guys. Thanks
