Hostas IN the pond won’t mjnd the sun at all. Outside the pond is another story. I plant them there anyway and just accept that they will be lovely until August.

My plan is to keep it there until it starts to turn yellow and then pull it out and plant it in the ground.

From my kitchen window....the water is clear but the current is too strong to allow clear view of the fish from here, unless of course the are at the surface.
The hyacinth are still blooming strong on the first day of September, and the petunia cuttings are finally filling in the pot
