You can put it in the food finely chopped are pureed or just the liquidized extract and you can add it to the food as often as you like we used to do it this way before the feed companies clicked on they could add to foods for koi.
I also buy an ornamental fish iodine mixed supliment during the summer and mix it in

Dave does the Temp have to be over 55 for so many days? I am going to put some praziquantel in for a couple of them are flashing and yawning--Water is 56-58 during the day--could I add some liq. to the wheat germ food now and feed it along with the prazi?
