It's been a while since I've heard the toads. It must be too cold at night. I've seen 2 during the day though. I guess they are waiting for some warmer nights.

My frogs found love..........

DSC03126.jpg

I saw 7 before I got my camera, Think two ducked down. Guess those green frogs to share ponds, this is the first time I have seen more than one in a pond, per information on them they don't like to share. The pond with the eggs is frogless now, but full of tads and eggs.

See if you can see 5 frogs

Your frogs had an orgy addy! I only could find what looks like 3 but I'm too impatient to really concentrate on it for too long, lol!

They are tough to see, two are very close together I know where they are and still have trouble spotting them

We live on a river and there is a very low spot across the street. every evening we have a serenade of hundreds of them.

I now have 3-4 frogs that are living in the day lilies in the bog, they go hopping every time I walk through the bog.

I still have the one boy frog croaking away now and then looking for love but never see any girls hanging around. My one hides in the rocks for fear of his life. Guess he sees me fly by too much on the riding lawn mower and thinks I'm out to get him!

I saw him by the bath tub pond yesterday and ran in to get my camera but when I got back he was gone. He was green and maybe 4" x 3" and never saw one like that here before around my pond that big. He knows to get moving fast away from the mower noise whenever I pass by the tub.
Course I watch out for him now that I know he's hanging out there!

Could be addy. I just went out to look for him and couldn't find him. He's prolly hunkered down somewhere cuz it's not too nice out. He's a really bright green!
